More often than not the time required to establish a solid foundation for any Series is several hours over a few days of study with hundreds, if not thousands, of verses of Scripture, as well as entire passages, read. This one is no exception. Added to that, folks have asked me how Scripture and references are chosen for a Series if that much time and effort is spent on research and preparation. Do remember that this time is my personal study time and devotion time daily to reading, praying and working on my relationship and walk with Christ.
Several tools are used to assist in the study of God’s Word – nothing replaces my King James Bible, but I’ve got it electronically as well as my “physical” copy to work with. Much of my research is fully documented, but never makes it’s way to paper – going green is made easier by utilizing a cloud based service like Evernote, which is what is used for all of my work. A list of tools follows which might help you find a more robust way to study and keep track of all those wonderful things we find in God’s Word.

Working through a Bible research time for Bible Study, daily reading or detailed findings is such a rewarding time in God’s Word. As much as can be, the Series development for DeliverTheWord.com is kept at a level that doesn’t delve into the antiquity of the words or reverse translations into original languages, so delivery is made everyone, not to a select few or a specified level of Bible student. My challenge to everyone is this though – read, study, pray, dig and research every story, every line, every thread – for they are EVERYWHERE and will amaze you with the knowledge they contain about Who God Is and Why He Loves us SO much!
