The Simple Redemption Plan is what is really presented here in this Series – four (4) simple passages of Scripture that plot a “road” we as Believer’s refer to as the Romans Road.  These passages are ones that EVERY Christian should know and are an essential building block to being a good Witness for Christ our Saviour.

Passages of Scripture

There are four (4) distinct presentations of the Scripture presented including: The Plan, Have They Heard, the Definition and Redemption.

The Plan

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God…
Romans 3:23 | King James Version

Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus…
Romans 3:24 | King James Version

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6:23 | King James Version

But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
Romans 6:22 | King James Version

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Romans 5:8 | King James Version

Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Romans 5:9 | King James Version

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
Romans 10:10-11 | King James Version

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Romans 10:13 | King James Version

Have They Heard?

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. But I say, Have they not heard? Yes verily, their sound went into all the earth, and their words unto the ends of the world.
Romans 10:17-18 | King James Version

Definition

“The purchase of God’s favor by the death and sufferings of Christ; the ransom or deliverance of sinners from the bondage of sin and the penalties of God’s violated law by the atonement of Christ.”
Webster’s 1828 Dictionary

Redemption

And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.
Romans 8:23 | King James Version

But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption: That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
I Corinthians 1:30-31 | King James Version

To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence…
Ephesians 1:6-8 | King James Version

In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
Ephesians 1:13-14 | King James Version

Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
Ephesians 4:29-30 | King James Version

Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins…
Colossians 1:12-14 | King James Version

But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building; Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
Hebrews 9:11-12 | King James Version

How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.
Hebrews 9:14-15 | King James Version
