Music Prints
There is something very special about a poinsettia to me – they are bold, large and noticed wherever they are placed. No different for this set of prints, all containing different angle so of the same Poinsettia plant (bush if you ask me – they are huge, as in over three (3) feet tall). In working with the only camera at my disposal, made the best of it by using the gorgeous shots taken, but had to strip them completely of the color registration from the Nikon used. Reds are even difficult for most advanced point-and-shoot digital cameras to correctly capture, as I was missing my own camera which was left at the house.
Colors Chosen
The initial color chosen was copper, with hopes that a gold and/or silver would be created to make a “tinsel” set of them for the three verses of the music happened upon in my music rotation. The concept of the colors actually were developed in a sequence – not coming into existence in quite the manner it was hoped they would. The three “places” or “actions” are the following:
- Have Come
- Gathered In
- Worship Him
Composition & Arrangement
Each of the three verses have a vivid color assigned to them. The verse and color list follow:
