Introducing

What have we to celebrate???  There’s within my heart a melody and Jesus is the Sweetest Name I Know.  Plenty!  We just have to have the right perspective, which requires a correct view to be had – both vertically and horizontally.  A potential challenge with either one of those views can affect how the heart responds.

This Series is one truly from the heart, dedicated to a very special Sister in Christ, whose family have become special to us.  She listed it on her Facebook page, which I “Liked” it immediately – just as immediately as I began to sing it, it was known that something special was about to transpire – could feel the Holy Spirit speaking to me to be prepared.  If we are indeed close enough to the God The Father, seeking to be the influence Jesus Christ has set before us – we indeed will be in tune to know the still, small voice of the Holy Spirit!

As soon as the full five verses of the hymn had been sung, of course as loud as was possible to do so in my office, this reply was posted:

“This one of those hymns that doesn’t just start me humming, but tapping and eventually gets me in full piano tapping/playing mode – right on top of the desk. Oh how marvelous… is that Sweetest Name!!!”

It would have been dangerous for me to be in front of the piano – I’d have figured out how to lift up the scale an octave and slowed it down through the chorus!  Then came back a reply that the Holy Spirit would use to seal the request with, which follows:

“The words are so profound! I woke up with this song on my heart…a little hug from God letting me know all is well 🙂 I will be shouting and singing all day!!! My God is AWESOME!!”

As soon as it popped up on the news feed, clicked Like, which is when the conviction unloaded – the Holy Spirit had tagged me just the day before when she had explained of a painful event which had taken place a decade before…  It then became abundantly clear to me that a series of photos that I’d been holding onto wondering where they would be utilized – a tiny, beautiful, quarter sized iris, almost so small it could have been easily overlooked.  A beautiful, with only a small bit of color, open bloom – delicate and few in number – became the focus for a set of prints for this SPECIFIC occasion.

The Scripture verse that inspired Luther B. Bridgers is Psalm 40:3 which follows:

“And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.”  Psalm 40:3 | King James Version

Indeed He Keeps Me Singing and it is my sincere HOPE that each of us would recognize that we have NO IDEA how an Encouraging WORD spoken to another individual will be used by the Holy Spirit to Encourage them. Let EACH of us be FAITHFUL to be close enough to the God The Father, seeking to be the influence Jesus Christ has set before us – so we will be in tune to know the still, small voice of the Holy Spirit!
