The past month and a half have been VERY busy on the development front for DeliverTheWord.com and the tools being used to communicate. E-mail users have noticed a slow down in sends, but want to assure you that it is not because there was nothing going on with the site! There have been a whopping 44 items published on Facebook during that time and the entire process which is used for e-mailing has gotten an overhaul so the snippet size items can be sent to you also.
Since the March 2013 Edition of The Encouragement Chronicles there have been:
- Five (5) New Series Added to DeliverTheWord.com

Am excited to have the new CRM (Customer Relationship Management) software in place to begin the month of May – it is just a really long name for a easy way to keep up with who is kept up with. Now all of the things shared on Facebook can be shared with everyone!
Hope you will be Encouraged by a few New Series and a highlight of a few more! REMEMBER: Share this Chronicle with someone you love and care for, it may be just what they need to be Encouraged.
Do remember this is the once a month, large issue if you will, showcase manner in which The Encouragement Chronicles highlights the goings on of things happening with DeliverTheWord.com. Series Showcase | Reminders and Influences
|1024×768 (SVGA/XGA) | 1280×1024 (SXGA) | e-Courage|
This verse shows us that once we have Believed on Jesus Christ as our Saviour, as the Scripture has said (God’s Word), then everything that we do should flow out of us as unto the Lord.
“For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.” Romans 14:8 | King James Version
This Series looks at the life of Timothy, that we might see both the Reminders and the Influences that Paul the Apostle had upon him throughout Timothy’s life. But before we look at those, we need to carefully consider three words from the verse above, “unto the Lord/LORD.” That tied in with John 7:37 and 38 above, gives us a picture of what Christ would have each of us to do – every thing that we do should have the tell-tale sign of being done as though it were being done for/to the Saviour directly. Others should be able to tell the difference between how the world reacts and how we act towards others – especially when we think no one is looking – God the Father is always looking, the Son of God our Saviour is always present and the Holy Spirit resides in us as we are the Temple of the Holy Spirit. Bearing in mind that thought, we are never alone…
A couple of statistics for the word Remembrance:
- 54 Times in OT (31) and NT (23)
- Mentioned in concert with Praying
The following areas are the specific reminders we will be looking at in this Series:
- Rivers of Living Water
- We Are the Lord’s
- The Unfeigned Faith
- Partakers of My Grace
- Ye Endured
- In Remembrance
- Grace Be Unto You
- Shall Not Be Moved
Each of these areas occurred at various stages in the peoples lives throughout the Bible, from the very young to the more Senior Saints, either individually, as a family or as a group of people.
This second piece of Reminders and Influences focuses on the lasting impact we have on others, by every facet and moment we are around them.
Where We Each Are In Life
Probably the most identifiable recount from the Scriptures for the group in which I find myself speaking in front of (Seniors Group at our Church), would have to be II Timothy 1:1-18 | KJV, zeroing in on verse five (5). This letter was written by Paul the Apostle to Timothy with a recount of the Faith which was being spoken of having a heritage or lineage from his Grandmother Lois and Mother Eunice. Paul was persuaded of this as he had God’s knowledge of being a great Joy to him personally. Think about it – Ms. Lois and Ms. Eunice have their names written down for all Eternity because of the Influence they had been to and for their Young Timothy.
“When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.” II Timothy 1:5 | King James Version
In this Passage of Scripture we have some other identifying remarks as well…
- Paul could not get around as easily as he used to be able.
- Paul was writing to him, not going to see him himself.
- Others had to come see Paul on their time.
- Paul was having to rely on Memory of a time gone by.
- Paul recalled tough times for Timothy.
- Paul Encouraged Timothy with Recounts of Successes.
Each one of YOU (Seniors Group at our Church) have an incredible ability to influence those of us that have come behind you – there are younger couples that need to see you, talk to you, be around you. There are teens and even younger kids that need to have the influence of those that have traveled a far piece down the road than they have. YOU (Seniors Group at our Church) are NOT done yet. Philippians 1:7 | KJV
“Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers of my grace.” Philippians 1:7 | King James Version
Each of you have accounts that we will never have the influence of, but by and through what you share with us. Hebrews 10:31-32 | KJV
“It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;” Hebrews 10:31-32 | King James Version
Unfortunately, we today do not know of the real struggle of what it is like to start a NEW Church from the meager means of a shoestring and a prayer. We also are unaware of the influences that others had on your lives which have helped you to get to where you are today.
A couple of statistics for the word Influence:
- 1 time as standard word (Job 38:31)
- 70 times as overflow, flowing, flow, flowed (Exodus to II Peter)
Oh how we need a few Paul’s in our day, who are will to invest their lives into the generation(s) following them, such that each of us would know and understand the struggles of yesteryear. Having the Courage to make that Investment and then taking the time to Encourage those same individuals is exactly what Paul did with young Timothy. Each of you should be the Paul’s of today and I should faithfully be the Timothy for both today and tomorrow, should the Lord tarry.

Series Spotlight | He Is Able
Website | http://delivertheword.com/heisable
The Easter statement:
Today is Friday, Sunday is Coming…
is one that has stuck with me, typically given on Good Friday. But there is a statement that has grown to mean much more to me in my private time with the Lord:
This IS what I NEEDED!
Amazing to me how a passage of Scripture can come to mean different things at different times and situations in our lives. The challenge given to us as men on the Saturday night before Easter Sunday was centered around the following verse:
|1024×768 (SVGA/XGA) | 1280×1024 (SXGA) | e-Courage|
The reminder to us is that we needed, to remember WHO is responsible for ANYTHING that we DO for the Lord – it is given to us in the verses above – “according to the power that worketh in us…” It is NOT we ourselves that do anything worthy of Praise, Honor or Glory, it is the Holy Spirit that worketh in us that accomplishes His Work. How is that so and how much can we accomplish for Him?
He is Able
First we have to understand that He is Able! God the Father wants us to accomplish the Work of His Son Jesus Christ through His people, but we must first realize that it is Him that is able to do so, not we of ourselves. What are we capable of doing? That question is answered for us in three stages illustrated in this verse of Scripture following “to do”.
We can clearly see that it comes in three levels in what “we ask or think”. First He states:
meaning just what it says – above all, it is not a matter of how much we know, how much we have done for Him or where we have been – He simply states ABOVE all, no matter how much has been asked before by anyone.
The second level of what “we ask or think” is the following:
A definition of abundantly from Websters 1828 Dictionary lists it as an adverb, defined as Fully, Amply, Plentifully and in Sufficient Degree. He will supply that “above all” in a completeness that can only be explained by His Power and Provision, overflowing thus in a manner all others will clearly see it is not of our own accord.
The third level of what “we ask or think” is the following:
Another definition researched in Websters 1828 Dictionary tells us that is is an adverb with the following meaning To A Very Great Degree, In a Degree Beyond What Is Usual, Greatly and Very Much. The degree in which His Power and Provision is made will be made in such a manner that is even further above abundance, going beyond even what we might have even had in our furthest hopes of being.
Getting The Glory
How does He do that? Where does He show us in His Word that is so? The following seven (7) places are the specific verses utilized in this Series for each of us to discover how Able He IS!
- Ephesians 3:20-21
- Romans 14:4
- II Corinthians 9:8
- II Timothy 1:12
- Hebrews 2:18
- Hebrews 7:25
- Jude 1:24
How much will we let Him do? That is up to me and you…

Series Spotlight | In The Midst Of Conflict
This VERY powerful Series is built upon a chapter of Scripture taken from Romans 5 | KJV – with a beginning which has four parts covering the first five verses. The four combinations are listed below so we can each see them as pieces of the part which will make up the foundation for this Series.
|“Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:”||“By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”||“And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience;”||“and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.”|
Each of the four parts dump, if you will, into each other building into to give us the “because” give us Hope by realizing that the Holy Spirit is there to help us through each part.
The Original Image & Recipient
Getting this image “right” was a process which took much, much longer than anticipated. Normally, especially for the person who has a flower garden in her office, the pieces developed for she and her husband come rather easily – for their favorite colors and flowers are already known. She likes daisies most of all, but have found that a rose snuck in there for good measure will be accepted too! With this one though, the following comment was sent in an e-mail to her “other half” for an opinion with the first draft of the image:
“Have no idea why this one has been SO tough – and it has been, almost turmoil and odd and most unlike my normal challenges when putting together a piece even in the heat of things… Have just put it down, over and over with no real resolve until today (well, yesterday now).”
Finally, the right image became apparent to me, but it needed some adjusting – which is NOT my normal mode of operation, cleaning an image up of imperfections is one thing, but changing textures, well that is altering things a bit… But it was just what was needed to make way for a four part Scripture placement. Four areas, four places to put things: Peace, Hope, Patience & Love.
|1024×768 (SVGA/XGA) | 1280×1024 (SXGA) | e-Courage|
After the image to use became clear, then the Encouragement wagon gathered steam – sure didn’t want her to think that I’d shirked my responsibility or opportunity to be an Encourager! The Lord was having to teach me a lesson in the mean time that I’d only get if stopping, praying, waiting and listening would take place. He has ALWAYS delivered, it is too often me that has to back up over and over to get the address of the stopping place so to speak.
By the response of how the piece lined up with just what she had been praying, seeking wisdom and making way toward, the Holy Spirit has accomplished what was needed and ALL the HONOR goes to our Heavenly Father!
How This Series Applies To Each Of Us
Those first five (5) verses were and are just the beginning of what Romans 5:1-21 | KJV should mean to each of us as Christians. The following phrase “walk” should help us realize just how powerful those Verses of Scripture really are. (You may read them by going to the Series page)
- Justified by Faith
- We have Peace with God
- Access By Faith Into His Grace
- We Stand in His Grace
- Rejoice in Hope
- Glory in Tribulations
- Tribulation Worketh Patience
- Patience (worketh) Experience
- Experience (worketh) Hope
- Love of God is Shed in Our Hearts
These list the benefits and privileges each one of us can experience from being justified. < The word “justified” comes from the very top of the walk and what changes is listed in the last two words in No. 10, “Our Hearts” – ALL because of the Love of God!
There are a total of 19 images in this Series, this first one the “Original Print” and the remaining eighteen presented in the “Themed Prints” category. Shows us from the Word of God how we can have “peace in the midst of conflict” – God’s Way!
