This set of prints has been bitter sweet to design for a dear family friend and her children.  Some folks may attribute the prints to a piece of music sung by various artists which takes it’s title from Psalm 103:12 | KJV.  One will not find the music listed on this blog for several reasons, one of them being the presentation made by Casting Crowns – a Christian Rock group who wrote the song as best as can be determined.  The words Christian and Rock do NOT belong with each other, unless you are talking about the Rock of Ages or the Rock of My Salvation… While that is the case, the surrounding information for the verse is encased inside of Psalm 103 from verse 8 to verse 18, giving us a glimpse of our Father’s Merciful, Gracious and Plenteous Mercy…

  • The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.
(Psalm 103:8 | King James Version)
  • He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.
(Psalm 103:9 | King James Version)
  • He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
(Psalm 103:10 | King James Version)
  • For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
(Psalm 103:11 | King James Version)
  • As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
(Psalm 103:12 | King James Version)
  • Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.
(Psalm 103:13 | King James Version)
  • For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
(Psalm 103:14 | King James Version)
  • As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
(Psalm 103:15 | King James Version)
  • For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
(Psalm 103:16 | King James Version)
  • But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;
(Psalm 103:17 | King James Version)
  • To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.
(Psalm 103:18 | King James Version)
